Molly shares her home with her owner J who is a research associate at Arizona State University, working on a PhD in computer science. Molly started her life as a sick and scared 3 month old puppy, living on the Salt River Indian Reservation. Her owner, J was working on the reservation when he found her and took her to the vet.
She had mange, a sometimes deadly disease which causes a dog to loose it's hair. In addition to that she had Tick Fever, a broken hip and was apparently born deaf. She was treated for the Tick Fever and Mange and her hip was repaired. Molly doesn't know she is deaf, understands basic sign language, and is a healthy dog now.
Molly loves coming to Doggie Day Camp, and will often head right for the car after her morning walk in anticipation of coming to camp!
Molly's favorite game at home is keep away, where she grabs a toy and runs around with it. Then her owner grabs the toy from her and throws it and the game starts all over again. She likes to stand over her toy box and root around in it until she finds just the right toy. She also loves to bury raw hides and treats in the yard and the couch. She follows J around the house and enjoys moving to a variety of places to sleep around the house each night.
"Molly has a mind of her own and usually gets what she wants. She is a big part of my life and is my Princess" says her owner J.
