Many times, clients call and tell us what is wrong with their pet, and ask us to provide medication without an exam.  As an AAHA (American Animal Hospital Association) accredited hospital, we strive to provide the highest service in veterinary medicine.

Our doctors insist on seeing the patient to assess the problem and to rule out other possible diseases or conditions.  Perhaps your pet is limping and since it is an older pet, you think it probably has arthritis.  Our doctors know that limping is a sign of many different conditions, including Valley Fever or a Foxtail or Cactus needle in the paw or between the toes.

It is also important for Arizona Pet Resort to have a record of your pet’s health on a yearly bases.  This includes a full exam, blood work and fecal analysis.  With the tests on file, should your pet become sick at a later time, we would have a benchmark to work from, and know what is “normal” for your pet.

So, the next time you call and the front desk tells you that you need an exam, now you know why!
